Dr. Tranika Jefferson, Ph.D., BCBA, LBA, Owner

Hi! I have always had a passion for and wanted to understand the “why” behind why people do what they do. Because of this, I received my Ph.D. in Applied Behavior Analysis from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, M.S. in Juvenile Forensic Psychology from Prairie View A&M University, and B.S. in Criminal Justice Specializing in Juvenile Justice (2005) from Prairie View A&M University.

My research interest includes Organizational Behavior Management with an emphasis in Applied Behavior Analysis with public servants to improve mental health awareness, and with major corporations to improve staff performance.

I bring more than a decade of experience providing applied behavior analysis therapy in clinic, school, residential, and in-home environments. Therefore, I am deeply committed to helping steer Positive Life & Learning Solutions, LLC through innovation, collaboration, and clinical excellence to improve the life of persons and families impacted by mental and behavioral health issues.

My specialty includes developing treatment plans and supervising the provision of applied behavior analysis services to persons with autism and intellectual/developmental disabilities who exhibit challenging behavior including but not limited to functional behavior assessments; development, implementation and evaluation of behavior interventions; monitoring effects of assessments and behavior interventions; consultation to schools, families and programs; and staff/family training.

I participate as a member of the Texas Association of Behavior Analysis (TxABA), Lone Star Association for Behavior Analysis (LSABA), and the Association for Behavior Analysis International.
